I have a project on the eastern cottontail rabbit and it lives in Georgia. It lives in a burrow to stay away from bad weather and from other animals. Thank you for giving me that animal, Mrs.McCullers. I learned lot about the eastern cottontail rabbit and a lot about Georgia.

I learned a lot about Georgia. One of the things I learned about is the Green Treefrog. The Green Treefrog lives all over Georgia. It is the state amphibian. It eats bugs and insects. It is small and green. It lives in trees. It can climb up windows.

We have been learning lots about Georgia habitats. I know lots about swamps but I learned a lot more. We hope we can make up the Sandy Creek field trip!

My favorite thing about moving here to Georgia from a much more northern state is that I can buy fresh okra at the grocery store when I want to make gumbo! Kelly, Finn’s Mom
